I need to get this down before 9 months rolls around! And it will come quickly, just as these first 2/3 of year 1 have come! This little guy is full of energy. He goes. And goes. And just when I think he's going to drift off and take a nice nap, he pops his head back up and gives me a gummy grin, and is ready to go again! Quite frankly, he's exhausting. But I wouldn't have it any other way!! He is in to everything. I told Jordan the other day how we needed to baby proof the house asap. His response? Didn't we already do that?? NOPE. Hampton was not in to half of the things this little one can find. Just the other day I had to move our sofa b/c he got his head stuck as he was trying to squeeze between the sofa and love seat! Crazy boy!
C is such a roly poly. His legs are extra squeezable. I have been SO happy with the warm weather because, among other fun, I get to see his sweet squishy legs all the time now! Love it!
He still has not been weaned. I offer him a bottle and sippy cup often, and he will chew on it and maybe get a sip or two, but that is it. I'm at a loss. As far as eating, he eats whatever! He has been introduced to puffs and is a huge fan. I gave him his first taste of "real food" (mac & cheese!) recently, and he was very...confused. I'm sure he will enjoy different foods once he realizes it's okay for them not to be purees.
Poor baby had surgery not once but twice this month. :( After he got his tubes put in, he became very fussy and just uncomfortable. I knew something was wrong. Turns out he had lots of blood pool and dry on his right ear drum, covering the tube. So, the ear wasn't able to drain, and he had the pressure of this scab on his ear drum. He had to go back and have this corrected and did so well. We can already tell a difference this time!
He's so sweet. Always smiling. And he will grab you and give the biggest hugs and open mouth (and very wet!) kisses ever. Love. It.
